Visualizing Relationship between the Shipping Business and Marine Ecosystems

We aim for biodiversity-smart shipping by integrating marine life big data and ship operation data to "visualize" the relationship between shipping business and marine ecosystems. Specifically, we will visualize the distribution of marine organisms, ecosystems, and biodiversity in the ocean and the spatial overlap of ship routes, and quantitatively assess the impact and risks that ship operations have on marine ecosystems.
